Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships benefit business
This is a bold statement – but research has shown that companies that do not train their workforce are 2.5 times more likely to fail than those that do! These modern work-based Apprenticeships provide the opportunity for employees to gain the necessary skills to progress in their chosen career (and earn while they learn). Apprentices also gain key transferable skills – such as working in teams, problem-solving, communication and using new technology.
Open to anyone between 16 and 24
Free to 16 to 18 year old learners ( Employer contributions for 19 - 24 year olds) apprenticeships are open to anyone between 16 and 24 years old who has been resident in the UK for at least three years and doesn’t have a degree.
There are two levels of qualification, the Apprenticeship at Level 2 and the Advanced Apprenticeship at Level 3, both levels include an NVQ portfolio, Key Skills for Communication and Application of Number and a Technical Certificate which tests underpinning knowledge.
Neighbour Training
As a learning provider in the South East with many years’ experience, our employers tell us they find the structured learning helpful both for themselves, to ensure they are involved with an employee’s progress and to keep the learner “on track”.
For those not eligible under the Government sponsored apprenticeship scheme we offer affordable private training – please contact us for more details.
